OUR STORY

A Thousand Years of Bizen Ware

Bizen ware (備前焼) is one of Japan's oldest pottery traditions, born in Okayama over a thousand years ago. It is fired without glaze for up to two weeks in a wood-burning kiln, where flame and falling ash leave their marks on every surface.

No two pieces are alike. Each carries the memory of the fire that made it — a quiet, earthy beauty meant to be lived with.
